Former Secret Service agent and podcaster Dan Bongino is one of the names people are kicking around as a possible choice to head up the Secret Service.
I’m not sure he would give up his show at this point to take the job, especially given that he just posted on Sunday that “Politics was such a sh** business” and that he is “happy to be on the outside.” Bongino also said the outside was where the “real action is” and “the show goes on.”
Of course, the folks who probably would be the best in such positions are the folks that don’t really want the power for power’s sake; Bongino likely would go in with the right mind to clean it up and certainly have the know-how to do so.
