Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, took the floor at the United Nations to denounce the Palestinian Authority, saying it is the “greatest enemy of the Palestinian people.”
Yousef spoke before the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), which last October appointed the representative of Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, as chair of its social forum. The UNHRC’s anti-Israel bias has been clear for years. According to the UN Watch Database, between 2006 and 2022, the UNHRC adopted 99 resolutions against Israel, 41 against Syria, 13 against Iran, four against Russia, and three against Venezuela. In April, it passed a resolution demanding an arms embargo on Israel.
