Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott sided with former President Donald Trump during an interview over the weekend on the Alabama Supreme Court’s recent ruling that frozen embryos should be considered human beings.
Abbott made the remarks during a Sunday interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” with Dana Bash when asked if he agreed that embryos are human beings.
“Well, listen, obviously, there’s some uncertainty lingering from this, but, candidly, let’s go back to President Trump, because President Trump put out a statement on this that I think a lot of people agree with,” Abbott said. “And that is a goal that we all kind of want to achieve.
