Normally, a story about Swedish “climate activist” Greta Thunberg being arrested at a protest amounts to little more than a dog-bites-man article. She’s constantly getting hauled away by the authorities for the various disruptions she causes. This morning it happened again, this time in Copenhagen. But this latest arrest came with a bit of a twist. Typically, Thunberg is hauled in for climate change protests. But this week, the disruptions she caused had nothing to do with climate change as far as I can tell. She joined up with a group of pro-Hamas, anti-Israel protesters who were members of “Students Against the Occupation.” So is that her new gig now? Having defeated the supposed climate change genie, is Greta Thunberg declaring war on Israel? If so, that would be a bit of a switch. (Politico)
