President Biden is considering issuing an executive order that will make it look like he is working on securing the southern border. His idea of securing the border may differ from yours.
Throughout Biden’s presidency, he has passed the buck to Congress on the issue of border security. He issued a slew of executive orders on his first day in office to undo all the measures in place that secured the border during the Trump administration. Biden’s mission in office has been to prove he is the not-Trump president. Mission accomplished, Joe.
Though Biden has repeatedly said that the border can be secured only with congressional action and that he does not have the power to close the border, now he is considering executive action.
