Long after the Covid pandemic and vaccine mandates were at their peak, Hollywood is still hating on those who were/are wary about getting the vaccine. Case in point, Hulu’s comedy How to Die Alone, which featured a joke about an airline agent purposely booking difficult flights for “drunk anti-vaxxers.”
The show had many little liberal digs scattered throughout its eight-episode first season, including using white racial stereotypes as fodder for laughs which happened in episode 8, “Get Lost.” But the worst dig came in the same episode, and it was at the expense of those who were wary of getting the Covid vaccine.
It’s understandable many people were hesitant given the vaccine was new and, more specifically, mRNA-type vaccines had never been given to the public before. No one knew what long-term side effects could potentially occur.
