President Donald Trump said while touring the Kennedy Center on Monday that he is releasing all of the files related to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy this week and that they will likely not be redacted.
Trump told reporters that the release will happen Tuesday afternoon and will include approximately 80,000 documents.
“While we’re here, I thought it would be appropriate, we are tomorrow announcing and giving all of the Kennedy files,” Trump said. “So people have been waiting for decades for this, and I’ve instructed my people that are responsible, lots of different people, put together by Tulsi Gabbard, and that’s going to be released tomorrow.”
