DHS Secretary Mayorkas was not impeached by the Senate on Wednesday. Senator Cortez Masto (D-NV) described the impeachment as a “waste of time.”
That may not seem like a controversial thing for a Democrat to say since it was obvious that Senate Democrats were never going to impeach Mayorkas. But, just a few days ago, a staffer for Cortez Masto was killed by an illegal alien. How cold and tone-deaf is this woman?
Impeachment is not a tool to iron out policy disagreements. If Republicans were serious about actual solutions, they’d vote for the bipartisan border package — but they’re not.

On April 6, Senator Cortez Masto’s state senior advisor Kurt Englehart was in a car crash and he was killed. The driver of the other car was an 18-year-old illegal alien.
