Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said during a joint interview with the family of a 12-year-old girl who was murdered in Texas last week that the illegal aliens who were allegedly responsible should be executed.
Cruz made the remarks during a Fox News interview with Alexis Nungaray, the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, who was allegedly murdered by Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26. Jocelyn’s grandfather, Kelvin Alvarenga, was also present for the interview.
“This is horrific. Every day, we’re seeing more and more Americans killed, more and more children killed, more and more victims of horrific assault,” Cruz said. “Let me say to Alexis and Kelvin—they have such incredible courage standing up and speaking out for Jocelyn, the agony that the entire family a 12 year old precious girl, this is wrong.”
