The law was viewed as an endorsement of parental rights, ensuring their ability to be involved with the development of their children. But on Friday, Governor J.B. Pritzker signed a law repealing the PNAA. The measure barely passed in the legislature, with even some of the Democrats joining all of the Republicans in opposition.
