Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, said during an interview that Israel will not risk Iran’s Islamic regime obtaining nuclear weapons, a pledge that it has always had, but has taken on renewed priority after Iran fired nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel this week.
Danon made remarks during a CNN interview Wednesday night with Kaitlan Collins on “The Source” when asked about what Israel’s response would be.
Danon said that he told the U.N. that Israel’s response would be a “very strong, painful response” that will happen “soon.”
“Iran will pay a price for what they did, attacking Israel,” he said. “Ten million Israelis had to run for shelters. Imagine the entire population of New York City that have to run for shelters in 10 minutes. They will pay for that.”
