President Donald Trump has had an acrimonious relationship with the legacy media and Democrats (but I repeat myself) since that fateful walk down the golden escalator in 2015. Of course, up to that point, the legacy media and Democrats loved him, but announcing his run as a Republican broke them.
One of the worst examples of Trump Derangement Syndrome in the press was from The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, who has never seen a story he couldn’t gin up to have an anti-Trump angle. But now President Trump has announced he will be meeting with Goldberg face to fact-challenged face.
Will this be a repeat of the congenial meeting of the minds with Bill Maher, where both parties walked away on good terms despite disagreements? Or will it be a more hostile exchange?
