Washington has long been the most incestuous place on earth, and John Podesta perfectly embodies the rampant corruption in the nation’s capital. Moving from one administration and lobbying gig to another, Podesta was most recently appointed “climate czar” under Joe Biden.

I guess the “defenders of democracy” see no contradiction in having unelected power brokers wasting taxpayer money with no accountability to fill their own pockets. That’s the kind of “democracy” the Democratic Party longs for.
