Conservative Hollywood actor James Woods shared a “miracle” update on his home in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles after he initially thought it had burned down.
The “Ghosts of Mississippi” actor had been very active on social media when the wildfires first broke out, and at one point, broke down on CNN as he told viewers that his home was “gone.”
Woods, though, traveled to his home and provided an uplifting post on X Friday.
“A miracle has happened,” he said. “We managed to get to our property, and our home, that we were told is gone forever, is still standing.”
“In this hellish landscape, ‘standing’ is relative, but smoke and other damage is not like the utter destruction around us.”
Woods, a Golden Globe and two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner, also provided a video view of the devastation all around him, taken from his deck.
