Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) said she was “always really good at math and science,” but now her goal is to make people “woke.”
During the representative’s appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” the host asked Crockett about her background and whether she always wanted to be a politician.
“No, I still don’t know if I want to do this. I actually wanted to be an anesthesiologist,” Crockett said. “So, I’ve always been really good at math and science. But I didn’t want to talk to people.”

Kimmel replied, “You wanted to put people to sleep and you kind of are doing the opposite thing now.”
“Yes,” Crockett exclaimed. “I want them to be woke now!”
