When discussing and debating an issue, at some point – depending on the seriousness and severity of the subject matter – civility and respect get thrown out the window.
Sometimes doing so is entirely warranted and sometimes it’s not. In the case of the deadly Afghanistan debacle from three years ago, along with the media-driven outrage over an alleged incident that took place during Donald Trump’s visit to Arlington National Cemetary Monday alongside family members of those whose lives were stolen during the Abbey Gate bombing, I’d say it’s absolutely warranted.
