There’s been a lot of speculation about Joe Biden and what he must be thinking about Kamala Harris– since he was shoved to the side and she was installed as the Democratic nominee for the presidency without one vote from the people in the primary.
He was reportedly convinced to step aside on the belief that her chances were better. And while there are certainly had all kinds of questions about Biden because of his cognitive decline, he also brought a lot of things to the table I don’t think the powers that be factored in when they swapped him out.
He at least was a known quantity to people and, at some point, was perceived to be a moderate (even though he’s governed like a leftist), he was liked by unions, he was liked in Pennsylvania.
