House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) is investigating special prosecutor Nathan Wade, the lawyer who has been working on the Georgia RICO case against former President Donald Trump, over his ties to the White House and the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.
Jordan is asking for documentation of any communications between Wade and the Fulton County DA’s office, the Department of Justice, and the White House. Jordan said he believed that Wade has information on “coordination of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office (FCDAO) with other politically motivated investigations and prosecutions and the potential misuse of federal funds.” Wade has been accused of having an “improper” relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
