Vice President Kamala Harris was unable to answer during an interview this week where she would get the money for her big government programs if Republicans win control of the Senate.
Harris was confronted over the matter during a softball interview Wednesday evening on MSNBC with Stephanie Ruhle when asked what she would do if she could not pay for her plans by increasing the corporate tax rate, which would also hurt the economy.
“Well-, but we’re going to have to raise corporate taxes, and we’re going to have to raise, we’re going to have to make sure that the biggest corporations and billionaires pay their fair share. That’s just it,” Harris responded. “It’s about paying their fair share. I am not mad at anyone for achieving success, but everyone should pay their fair share.”
