Vice President Kamala Harris is a “young politician” who “will be back,” a former aide said on Monday, yet another sign that Harris could try to return to the political spotlight after losing the 2024 presidential contest to Donald Trump.
Symone Sanders, who served as a senior adviser and chief spokeswoman to Harris before leaving the Biden administration in late 2021 and joining MSNBC the following year, made the comment during an appearance on the cable network.
“I don’t think the world has seen the last of Vice President Kamala Harris,” Sanders said. “I don’t know how she will show up again, but she is a young politician who garnered over 75 million votes in this election, and she will be back.”
