Kamala Harris spent her Sunday morning preaching to a church in West Philadelphia, even breaking out an accent as she paraphrased a quote from the Book of Psalms.
The Vice President impressed upon the congregation at the Church of Christian Compassion the importance of the upcoming presidential election.
“In just nine days we have the power to decide the fate of our nation for generations to come,” she said.
At one point during her sermon, a heckler broke up the proceedings. But, as opposed to her mockery of Christians last week, saying they were “at the wrong rally,” Harris indicated all voices are now welcome.
“That’s why we fight for our democracy. Every voice is important,” she said, clapping and awaiting the outburst to subside.
