There will be a flurry of activity on Capitol Hill Thursday, with confirmation hearings as to several of President Donald Trump’s nominees, including Kash Patel for FBI Director.
Patel will sit before the Senate Judiciary Committee and, if Pam Bondi’s hearing was any indication, be grilled mercilessly by the committee Dems. Sen. Dick Durbin (IL) is the ranking member of the committee. He’ll be joined in the scrum by Sheldon Whitehouse (RI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Mazie Hirono (HI), and Adam Schiff (CA), among others.
