The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., has fired a contractor who stripped naked and recorded a 35-minute-long rant against President Donald Trump.
Tavish Forsyth, 32, was previously an associate artistic lead at the Washington National Opera’s Opera Institute, where he worked with minors.
The former employee identifies as “queer” and is also a faculty member at Johns Hopkins University, per The National Pulse, where he lists his pronouns as “they/them.” Forsyth posted the spoken word poetry performance to document his frustration over recent changes at the Kennedy Center, especially a ban on drag performances, the outlet noted.
The video included Forsyth saying he was “angry and confused.”
“F*** Donald Trump and the Kennedy Center,” he said at one point, saying the Trump administration “is systematically targeting the livelihood and liberty of poor people, queer…
