A “Horizon” stunt performer is suing Kevin Costner and film producers for what she’s describing as “a violent, unscripted, unscheduled rape scene” directed by Costner in the film.
Stunt performer Devyn LaBella filed the sexual harassment lawsuit in the Superior Court of California for Los Angeles County on Tuesday, citing an alleged incident from 2023 during the filming of “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2.”
LaBella claims she was hired by the production company as a stand-in for lead actress Ella Hunt “during physical scenes” and that during that time, her SAG agreement terms were violated. Those include a ban on “any last minute requests for nudity or simulated sex.” The terms also require producers to give a 48-hour notice and get the performer’s permission for any changes to intimate scenes, along with providing an intimacy coordinator for sex scenes,…
