Former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger attempted to make a false claim about election denialism, which was rebuffed immediately in just four words.
Kinzinger went on a whirlwind media tour yesterday, including an appearance on “Late Night with Stephen Colbert,” discussing the anniversary of the mostly peaceful protest at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021.
It is a day, after all, he celebrates as a national day of mourning.
However, Kinzinger also made an appearance on the only network that will employ him — CNN. He was matched up on a panel that included commentator Scott Jennings.
The battle of wits had begun. And Kinzinger clearly went into a gunfight with a spork.
