White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre came up empty when asked by a reporter on Monday to name a “specific policy” achieved by Vice President Kamala Harris.
Harris, who has yet to hold a press conference since becoming the Democratic nominee, has been slammed for her record on the border crisis after being tasked by President Joe Biden to address the “root cause” of illegal immigration. The vice president held numerous rallies over the past week, but she has yet to put forward a campaign platform with the Democratic National Convention in Chicago just one week away.
“What does the president see as the vice president’s biggest achievement during their time in office together?” a reporter asked the top White House spokeswoman.
