Leftists will surely be triggered by the latest announcement by President Donald Trump that he is bringing back a cherished American holiday, which they have tried to disparage and replace with a “woke” version in recent years. He shared on his Truth Social account on Sunday that “[he is] bringing Columbus Day back from the ashes. The Democrats did everything possible to destroy Christopher Columbus, his reputation, and all of the Italians that love him so much.”
