Leonard Leo, co-chairman of the Federalist Society, who was instrumental in suggesting conservative judges for former President Donald Trump to nominate to the Supreme Court, fired back at President Joe Biden after Biden published an opinion piece on Monday demanding term limits for Supreme Court justices and a “binding code of conduct for the Supreme Court.”
“Justices should be required to disclose gifts, refrain from public political activity and recuse themselves from cases in which they or their spouses have financial or other conflicts of interest,” Biden commanded.
Biden and his Democratic Party have been attacking the two most conservative justices on the court, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, claiming they have violated ethical standards.
