An all-female “crew” went to space on Monday courtesy of Jeff Bezos and his “Blue Origin” rocket. Among them were singer Katy Perry and left-wing anchor Gayle King, and somehow, both women managed to return to earth even more insufferable than before.
The pretentiousness of this quote from Perry is off the charts.
“I think that it’s not about me, it’s not about singing my songs, it’s about a collective energy in there,” Perry said afterward. “It’s about making space for future women, and taking up space and belonging, and it’s about this wonderful world that we see right out there and appreciating it. This is all for the benefit of Earth.”
Is that Perry speaking or Kamala Harris? Because I couldn’t tell for a moment there. I’ve also been reliably informed that any unnecessary release of carbon emissions is an awful tragedy that must be avoided. Yet, here…
