The words “leadership” and “Democrat” usually do not fit together and that has certainly been the case as the California wildfires have raged out of control and with seemingly no end in sight despite the best efforts of firefighters in the Golden State.
Just in the last few days alone, we’ve seen some disgraceful moments from elected Democrat “leaders” over what’s happening, more recently with President Joe Biden appearing next to Gov. Gavin Newsom while in the state, where he promptly announced amid the heartbreaking destruction and despair that he had just become a great-grandfather.
“My son [Hunter] lives out here, by the way,” Biden proclaimed. “They got the notification yesterday that their home has probably burned to the ground. Today, it appears that it may be still standing. We’re not sure, but the good news is, I’m a great-grandfather as of today.”
