The White House released a video showing the arrival of the United States Marine Corps at the southern border, which was hailed as yet another promise kept by an administration not yet a week old.
The video, posted to X, shows Boeing V-22 Osprey aircraft arriving in an area of the border where a big beautiful wall has been constructed. The official website of the Marines describes the V-22 Osprey’s primary function as “amphibious assault transport of troops, equipment and supplies from assault ships and land bases” for “special operations missions.”
Right now, stopping the invasion at the southern border is the Trump administration’s main operation mission. While his predecessor was sending tanks to protect Ukraine’s borders, President Trump is sending military resources to protect our own.
What a shift in priorities.
