Matt Yglesias: Progressives are incentivized to catastrophize (aka the special snowflake problem)

Okay, I have to confess that Matt Yglesias definitely didn’t say what my headline does exactly. The word snowflake does not appear in his latest essay but I do think that’s a close approximation of his actual argument.
