As we wrote on Wednesday, the judge in NYC Mayor Eric Adam corruption and bribery case met with Alex Spiro, the lawyer for Adams, and the acting Deputy U.S. Attorney General, Emil Bove, to better understand why the Trump administration’s Justice Department decided to drop the charges against the mayor. There were some fireworks during the interactions between Spiro and the judge; at the end of the hearing, however, U.S. District Court Judge Dale E. Ho did not render a decision.
Then on Thursday, Democrat NY Governor Kathy Hochul announced that despite mounting pressure from the Left to remove a sitting Democrat mayor–they are disappointed that the mayor has decided to join forces with the Trump administration to try to resolve the illegal immigrant crisis–she would instead propose that the state legislature and city council install co-called “guardrails”…
