Mick Jagger Takes on Governor Landry

The Rolling Stones are on tour in the United States. Lead man Mick Jagger is 80 years old now and still strutting across the stage. Unbelievable.

The band performed last Thursday in New Orleans during Jazz Fest. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is an annual celebration of music that brings in all types of musicians, including big names to draw in crowds. 

For whatever reason, Jagger took a swipe at Governor Jeff Landry when he finished “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” He began talking about inclusion. Then he referenced the governor. “We want to include him too. Even if he wants to take us back to the Stone Age.” 

Hmm. Chalk it up to an old man rambling. You know how they are. We have an 81-year-old in the White House who rambles on topics out of nowhere on a daily basis.
