Former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told CBS News on Sunday that he’s still “very upset” with President Donald Trump over his perceived role in the January 6, 2021 Capitol incident.
Isn’t it odd that Mitch chose to trot himself over to CBS’s “60 Minutes” to whine to TDS-riddled host Leslie Stahl about Trump and Jan. 6? Of course it’s not; McConnell knew Stahl would totally agree with him — and eagerly join him in trashing Trump.
Stahl kicked off the festivities, predictably — knowing how McConnell would respond:
Well, we haven’t spoken for quite a while. I was very upset about what happened January 6.
It was game on for the two peas in a pod, as Stahl primed the pump.
