Former Vice President Mike Pence has been chosen as the recipient of the 2025 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award for certifying Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election.
The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation announced its decision Thursday, stating that Pence was selected for “putting his life and career on the line to ensure the constitutional transfer of presidential power on January 6, 2021.”
Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of President Kennedy, and Jack Schlossberg, his only grandson, issued a joint statement revealing their thoughts on the 2025 award winner.
