Oscar-winning actress and comedian Mo’Nique has gone viral for some scathing comments she made during an appearance on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast, including remarks about how she’d be more famous if she were white.
“If I was a white woman, do you know what my name would be? Melissa McCarthy,” the 56-year-old celebrity complained to podcast host Shannon Sharpe. “If I was a white woman, my name would be Melissa McCarthy. Same track record! Five-year sitcom in syndication. The opportunities are not the same.”
