You might have thought that Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) would be back by now after he got rejected from seeing or talking with El Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador.
That would have been smart. But he appears to still be there and still grandstanding. After being told bluntly by the Central American nation’s vice president that the senator wasn’t going to be able to get in to see Garcia at CECOT, it looks like Van Hollen decided to go there anyway to try to get in.
