Morgan Wallen and Chris Stapleton lead the pack for the 2024 Country Music Association Awards, but noticeably absent was even a single nod for singer Beyonce following the release of her “Cowboy Carter” album.
On Monday, the CMAs announced the nominations for the 58th CMA Awards, with Wallen taking the most with seven nominations, followed by five each for Stapleton and Cody Johnson. Relative newcomer rapper Post Malone got four, with up-and-coming country star Lainey Wilson matching those nominations. Country artists like Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, Kacey Musgraves, Luke Combs, and Luke Bell each took three.
