Andrew Ferguson, the new Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), asked the American people to send him examples of Big Tech censorship. The Media Research Center has just the tool to deliver.
Since the department’s creation back in 2018, MRC Free Speech America has amassed more than 8,000 cases of documented censorship in its CensorTrack database.
MRC researchers have spent more than seven years collecting cases of Big Tech censorship into the unique CensorTrack database, and have now surpassed 8,000 cases. The 8,000th case involved TikTok removing a comment that quoted Mahatma Gandhi: “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” The communist Chinese government-tied platform claimed this quote violated its community guidelines but did not explain how.
