MSNBC host to Hochul: New Yorkers just don’t feel safe

If there’s one unwritten rule at MSNBC (and most of the shows on CNN for that matter), it’s that you don’t discuss awkward subjects that paint Democratic administrations in a bad light. But things seem to be going so poorly for the Democrats on the eve of the 2022 midterms that those old rules are falling by the wayside. Unelected New York Governor Kathy Hochul sat down this weekend for what should have been a friendly session of softball questions with the liberal network’s Stephanie Ruhle. After allowing Hochul some time to list all of her “accomplishments” and what she’s doing to make New York a safer place, Ruhle threw the playbook out the window and related her own experiences in the city and the fact that New Yorkers simply don’t feel safe.
