Networks’ Coverage of July CPI A Mixed Bag, Parts Fawning And Factual

Network news coverage of the July CPI report, with its slightly lower rate of inflation growth, has garnered somewhat mixed coverage across the dial, with reports ranging from sycophantic to factual.

The worst of these, of course, comes from the most Biden-Harris friendly network: ABC, which devoted itself to hailing the developments and selling hope of a September rate cut while completely glossing over the pain families are still feeling.
