I’m not sure who is advising Democrats to act like they are TikTok influencers and put out performative pictures and videos.
We saw Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) put out a picture acting like they were tough “resistance” after walking out on President Donald Trump’s Joint Address to Congress. But then he forgot to show their shirts, sort of blowing the pitch, which was already dumb. Then there was the ridiculous “choose your fighter” video where some female Democrats, including their House Whip Rep. Katherine Clark (MA) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY). The White House had a great response to that one, saying that the American people had already chosen their fighters: Trump and the Trump team.
