If you don’t remember who Nina Turner is that’s really okay. She’s a socialist who ran in a special election in Ohio back in 2021 against a more moderate Democrat named Shontel Brown. It was a contest to see who would take the seat previously held by Rep. Marcia Fudge who left to become Biden’s HUD Secretary. Shontel Brown was endorsed by Hillary Clinton and Jim Clyburn (the latter endorsement was Turner’s fault) while Nina Turner was endorsed by Bernie Sanders and AOC.
