FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—Former President Donald Trump is increasingly popular with North Carolina likely voters, a new poll shows.
The Napolitan News Service surveyed 780 likely voters in North Carolina between Sept. 25 and 27 as to whether they preferred Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump leads Harris in North Carolina by a 51% to 47% margin among likely voters when leaners are included.
North Carolina is considered to be a swing state. While voters there have historically supported the GOP presidential nominee, Republican Trump prevailed over Democrat Joe Biden in the Tar Heel State in 2020 by just 1.3 percentage points.
Trump has increased in favorability by 2 points, while Harris’ favorability with North Carolina voters has decreased by 3 points.
