It’s not just aid that Biden is withholding from Israel, but specific precision weapons that among other things reduce civilian casualties.

Biden is trying to walk a tightrope–satisfying his conventional elite base who are becoming more and more appalled at what is happening on campuses and the explosion of antisemitism, while trying to mollify the students who make up a good chunk of the Democrat ground troops.
It’s a pathetic attempt, but there it is. Biden needs both camps to win this November, and he is willing to sacrifice Israelis in the process.
