New York City has been learning about what it really means to be a sanctuary city this year and Mayor Eric Adams doesn’t care for it. With hundreds of illegal migrants arriving every day, he has already stated that they have run out of places to put them. But the city put a “sanctuary” law in place long before he arrived in office, so he doesn’t have many options. Yesterday, Adams sought to change that situation. Instead of finding more housing, he went to court to ask a judge to “revisit” the law and “halt” the policy. Presumably, if he gets his wish, he will be able to start turning away migrants as they arrive. Where he would send them instead remains a mystery. (Townhall)Read More
