There are a lot of bad things about being terminally online–it is a job requirement for me, and I don’t get workman’s comp when my mental health suffers!–but one advantage is that you get exposed to a lot of information that others never see.
That’s one of the reasons I despise the mainstream media so much. They curate information for everybody to create a false picture of reality. Curation is their job; creating a false narrative is the opposite of what they should do.
Currently, we are being fed a ridiculous image of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as gun-toting moderates who will be tough on the border, create prosperity through stimulating small businesses and cutting taxes for everybody but the rich.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
