Olympic Gold medalist Mary Lou Retton was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence on May 17 near her home in West Virginia. It comes two years after she survived a major health scare.
According to records posted online by the West Virginia Magistrate Court system, the 57-year-old gymnastics icon was arrested for “driving under influence of alcohol, controlled substances, or drugs.” Retton faces one misdemeanor count of DUI following the arrest.

Fairmont police said Retton was pulled over following reports about a person driving a Porsche erratically, the Associated Press reported.
