Col. Susan Meyers, commander of the 821st Space Base Group, was shown the door Thursday, and occupied the unemployment line with her fellow travelers. Vice Adm. Shoshanna Chatfield, Gen. Charles “CQ” Brown , and Adm. Lisa M. Franchetti were all canned for their failure to lead their charges and failure to follow.the president’s directives. And I guess there were a few others who were less publicized. But perhaps from somewhere up above, Douglas MacArthur is shaking his head slowly and thinking “Didn’t you guys learn anything?” Or maybe he’s using telepathy to send over the name of his publisher. Don’t know. Anyway…
